'The Blessing Tree' released in 1998 is a collaboration album between Philip Riley and Jayne Elleson. This is their second album, their first being 'Celtic Visions And Voices', released in 1994.Philip Riley is an English musician, composer and producer, whilst Jayne Elleson is a New Zealand born vocalist and self taught pianist. The album is a unique fusion of mostly Celtic themed music, with a dusting of a classical feel in places, topped with Jayne Elleson's etherial vocal, which has a similarity to Enya or Moya Brennan, making it a truly magical auditary experience. If you like Enya, Loreena McKennitt, Moya Brennan or Clannad I'm sure you'll like this album...it comes to you HIGHLY recommended.
