Celtic Woman - Songs From The Heart

Released on January 26th 2010, "Songs From The Heart" is the 5th album by Celtic Woman. It is the first studio album to feature songs by the 2 new vocalists of the group, Lynn Hilary & Alex Sharpe. The 1st single released off the album was "O America" which was released in the Spring of 2009.
This album and it's accompanying DVD has upset fans as several songs were omitted from the CD & DVD that were featured in the original concert for PBS and some of the songs are sang differently on the CD than how they appear on the DVD. Celtic Woman's new version of "Danny Boy" formerly sang only by former vocalist Meav Ní Mhaolchatha appears on the DVD but not on the CD. Alex Sharpe's "You'll Be In My Heart" appears on the CD but not on the DVD even though on the PBS special they aired her performance of this song. Alex Sharpe's re-make of the Cyndi Lauper classic "True Colors" appears on the DVD but not on the CD. Lynn Hilary's "Carolina Rua" does not appear on either the CD & DVD.
The songs that are sang significantly different on the CD than that which they appear on the DVD are as follows : "Isle Of Hope, Isle Of Tears", "Fields Of Gold" & "Níl Sé'n Lá".
