Orla Fallon - Orla Fallon's Celtic Christmas

Released on November 17th 2010, former Celtic Woman vocalist Orla Fallon released her second Christmas album and it's also her second Christmas album to be released this holiday season. Akiko Shikata - Harmonia

Akiko Shikata (志方あきこ) is a Japanese singer-songwriter and composer, who is known for writing music for games and anime. She is most well known for her contributions to the Ar tonelico, Shadow Hearts and Umineko no Naku Koro ni games, as well as anime adaptations of Umineko no Naku Koro ni and Tales of Symphonia. Shikata's music is known for its ethnic feel and complex vocal chorus work. In a single Shikata song, there may be as many as 200 separate vocal tracks recorded for it.

Phillippa Lusty is a new artist on the Classical music scene, She comes from Cornwall in the UK where she travels performing at various festivals and shows, She is a well known face at the 3 wishes Faery Festival each year in Cornwall. Pippa is currently unsigned and sells promo copies of her demo album at her shows and events. I recently be-friended Pippa and she really is a wonderful person with a beautiful voice. She has been called the British Hayley Westenra. Pippa writes all of her songs and here is featured self penned songs as well as well known classics.

Hayley Westenra - Hayley Sings Japanese

Hayley sings Japanese Songs is an album by New Zealand singer Hayley Westenra. The album contains Westenra's interpretations of traditional and popular contemporary Japanese songs. Some of the songs have been translated into English while others remain in Japanese. The album contains the Japanese version of Amazing Grace and is a duet between Hayley and the late Japanese singer Minako Honda. The song was released as a single in Japan and topped the Japanese International Singles Chart.

Celtic Woman - Songs From The Heart

Released on January 26th 2010, "Songs From The Heart" is the 5th album by Celtic Woman. It is the first studio album to feature songs by the 2 new vocalists of the group, Lynn Hilary & Alex Sharpe. The 1st single released off the album was "O America" which was released in the Spring of 2009.
This album and it's accompanying DVD has upset fans as several songs were omitted from the CD & DVD that were featured in the original concert for PBS and some of the songs are sang differently on the CD than how they appear on the DVD. Celtic Woman's new version of "Danny Boy" formerly sang only by former vocalist Meav Ní Mhaolchatha appears on the DVD but not on the CD. Alex Sharpe's "You'll Be In My Heart" appears on the CD but not on the DVD even though on the PBS special they aired her performance of this song. Alex Sharpe's re-make of the Cyndi Lauper classic "True Colors" appears on the DVD but not on the CD. Lynn Hilary's "Carolina Rua" does not appear on either the CD & DVD.
The songs that are sang significantly different on the CD than that which they appear on the DVD are as follows : "Isle Of Hope, Isle Of Tears", "Fields Of Gold" & "Níl Sé'n Lá".
