Karen Matheson is a tradional Scottish singer, probably best known as the lead singer with Celtic band Capercaillie, Karen sings in both Scottish Gaelic and English. Karen made a cameo appearance in the 1995 movie Rob Roy singing the song 'Ailein duinn'.'The Dreaming Sea' released in 1996 is Karen's debut solo album.
