Caroline Lavelle is a British singer-songwriter and cellist, who contributes vocals, music, and production help to many other artists and bands. Caroline is also a cellist in Loreena McKennitt's band, appearing on Loreena's recordings, as well as touring live.'Spirit' released in September 1995 is Caroline's debut solo album, it's produced by William Orbit, and consists of a mixture of ambient and electronic music, but also with a distinct Celtic flavour. Caroline Lavelle, although relatively unknown, seems to have a loyal fanbase of those lucky enough to have discovered her music, this album comes HIGHLY recommended.
